Party: Goorin Brothers Launch Lakeview Store

Lure: The Goorin Brothers opened their doors to their newest Chicagoland location in the heart of Lakeview with a grand opening beach party event. This 1,200 square foot space is the brand's second location in Chicago, following its wildly successful Bucktown location. Guests enjoyed the new store's beach party theme and summer cocktails. Goorin's successful collections of summer hats have recently been spotted on the heads of celebrities such as Gieselle Bundchen, Tom Brady, Sandra Bullock.

Lure: Eva and Robyn Anderson, co-owners of le Dress, along with Chicago insider and co-host Kelli Zink, presented guests with a backstage look at fashion during the boutique¹s two-year anniversary celebration. Guests enjoyed a backstage look at the latest styles for the season, as well as complimentary cocktails and bites from RA Sushi, music by DJ Megan Taylor, and swag bags with champagne from the Dana Hotel and Spa¹s Vertigo Sky Lounge.

Ladies dressed as their favorite Sex lady walked the catwalk and guests left with a swag bag filled with goodies!

Lure: About 1,000 of the City’s biggest movers and shakers including the Presdent of Mercedes came out to the biggest event of the year - ‘A Night In Monaco- CS Magazine’s Spring fashion event celebrating the Grand opening of the new Mercedes-Benz of Chicago located on North Avenue. With all of the top vendors coming together (including Sound Investment, Heffernan Morgan, Entertaining Company and Factor Women), CS and Mercedes offered a night that no one will soon forget!

Party: Chicago Fashion Foundation's third annual scholarship benefit
Venue: Macy's on State Street

Lure: Nine student finalists from four Chicagoland design schools (IADT, Art
Institutes, Columbia, and Harper College) represented seven of Chicago's 27
sister cities. 2010 was the first year to give a total of three scholarships
in totals of $5,000, $1,000 and $500. Lucky designers!
